Now might be a time for States that are in a financal hardship to impose a 2-cent add on gas tax to help their state funding.
This woud assist the State, County, and Local Goverments in a time when they are cutting funded programs and jobs.
More taxes are no good, but I feel this could be a real help to our economy in a positive way...

Makes sense, gas prices are reasonable for now, even if they aren't, some things are worth holding on to.

Looks like they are heading back up. A 30 cent increase in the past month or so.

$2.03 again and on the way up, it seems there excuse this time is maintenance at the refineries. Good timing for maintenance and what does that have to do with the price.

Yeah, before this past year or so, have gas prices moved around as much? I know that they have gotten higher over the years and maybe I blocked it out, but have they always changed so much so quickly?
I am confused.

Prices usually move higher in the summer months, however like all parts of our ecomomy it has changed.
This product is mostly changed by supply and demand, but that has changed also this last year.
fuel is another area where the America people need to take a stand and say enough is enough.
example: When oil was $417.00, gas was about $4.10 per gallon. Today oil is around $35.00 and gas prices are around $2.19 and rising.
And this is okay with the American people....

Yeah, we have noticed that they are remaining pretty steady at about $1.88. Until they rise again...

::)The senate passed the omnibus spending bill today that includes @1300.00 per family in energy cost: means we will be paying more for gas, electric, heating oil etc.

How do you fix economy by taking more money and making people pay more for living and gas?

Gas prices have dropped a little, but it is hard to explain, isn't it?
