would be nice if gas went down but I heard that Obama wants to rise the taxes on gasoline so it looks like the price will be going up.

The price for gas sure doesn't go down the way it go's up. The price of oil has been dropping for the last month.

Gas prices should continue to fall. We have paid too much for way too long.

Green is the way, and stop the gas price thing. Our elected officals will control the price and keep it in check with other countries. America needs to get off oil, it is distroying out planet.

Well now. Here's a first! Something I mostly agree with you on T2S. There are enough alternative fuel or enhanced fuel designs out there that We can significantly reduce our dependency of oil. Foreign or domestic.
The only point I don't agree with you on is "Our elected officials will control the price and keep it in check"
Our elected officials didn't lift a finger to stop the raping of our pockets when gas went to and exceeded $5.00 per gallon.
When that happened, I got angry that nothing was being done to halt our victimization by the oil and gas companies. (More angry than I am about Hardee's) But I didn't whine or complain or b****. Instead I did research. I stated looking into alternative fuels. After a while I came to the conclusion that to avoid damage to my current gasoline-driven engine, and without making any major modifications, hydrogen power was going to be the best alternative.
Now I know you're thinking that it must be expensive, or "That's too technical for me to do". Neither of those statements are true.
I designed and built several different versions of an "On-demand" hydrogen fuel cell. You still need gasoline, but when I use the cell I only use about half the gasoline that I was.
Is it a perfect solution? No. Because I still need gasoline. But, I need far less of it now than I did then.

Gas prices are always going to be a topic of debate I think. I remember when they were 99 cents and thought that was expensive. No matter how much complaining we do we cannot change it. Our need to drive a car makes us pay whatever they are asking. The only way to avoid the prices is to find an alternative way to get from here to there and in this day and age a car is usually the means of transporation. Unless you really like to walk. ALOT.

Rosie O'Donald was in the news yesterday, spouting off again about the environment. She thinks we need to stop all drilling and pas about $20 a gal for gas in order to force Americans into alternative fuels. Just another example of "rich people" not caring that they will be able to afford drive. WELCOME to serfdom!

Big bucks for gas...means only people with money will be able to drive their cars. Hard working Americans will have no money left to put back in the economy after they pay for $10-20 a gallon gas. Means that more people will lose their jobs and move onto welfare. And I agree, what happened to freedom, what part force is found in the word freedom.

Gas prices are just going to bounce back and forth because it gives people a safer topic of discussion that we can all agree on. Prices need to be lower.
