5-30-10: BP is onto plan 7 to now limit not stop the flow of oil into the gulf. They will use underwater robots to cutoff part of a busted pipe leading out from the well and the cap it so it can flow into a device is similar to a huge containment box that failed the first time. The only way to stop it now is the relief well which won't be completed until August. This spill is said to be the worst in U.S. history and has dumped as much as 40 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico in the seven weeks it has been flowing.
