Under Obama care it will be mandatory that you have health insurance and you will be required to show proof that you have it. Yet we have people crying "not fair" over showing ID that you are in the country legally This is an excellent point! Thank you.

I couldn't agree more 0413.... What happens when they tell you that if you eat food that "they" say is bad for you and as a consequence, "they" won't treat you now because you didn't do what you were told? This might seem like a small thing but an army of ants WILL eat an entire water buffalo one bite at a time. This health care plan seems like it's full of small bites at our most basic of freedoms.... The freedom of choice. Where will it end?

Hopefully in January, Congress can just stop the funding for ObamaCare and it can just go away.

Healthcare is changing. My insurance plan just went from okay to so-so. When is the good coming?

My plan changed too. More out of pocket up front and more money out of my check. Can barely afford the coverage so I am hoping I dont get sick because I have to pay 100% of my care up to a certain amount before the insurance will even kick in. Then, when they DO pay, I have to still pay a co-pay and co-insurance. Talk about breaking us! WHO can afford to go to the doctor these days? What ever happened to pay your insurance premiums, go to the doctor, pay your CO-PAY and be done? ? Really? ??

Obama Care was forced on people, I do not know anyone at all that health insurance costs have not gone up.

My insurance went up in cost and down in benefits, too.

I thought so, but my plan has changed and now I pay more. Does that mean my employer pays less??

I had to drop my work's insurance and go on my spouse's. Mine was becoming more and more expensive and my co-pays had gone up has much as $50.
It was becoming harder and harder to justify going to the doctor. Now, the plan I am on has also switched to a more expensive out of pocket for us up front.
Sad because your personal health is not something you should take for granted or try to justify spending the money on.

Agreed. Your health should not have a price tag, but to many it is eat or go to the doctor and that is just sad.

I have a PPO. My deductable plus 15% is outrageous and my insurance is offered from a large company. Imagine the little guys, it is too much. I recently spent some time in a hospital, thank goodness I have insurance, but wow! Almost $5,000 a night billable to the insurance company. It's crazy. I could make a few mortgage payments for what they charge. No wonder we pay so much out of pocket.

Ya! Me, too!! That is crazy. Does it really cost THAT much for a night at the hospital? Are the room floors made of gold?

Anyone that walks into an ER can not be refused treatment, even without ObamaCare
